Nowadays Women Empowerment has become a significant topic for debate in our society due to the increasing crimes, injustices on women in the world. Male-dominated society always tried to suppress the voices of females. With time, there were many steps taken by the Governments of various countries to improve the condition of women and empower them to fight against society.
What is Women Empowerment?
Women empowerment refers to the situation when they have the freedom of choice in taking their own decisions in life. They know well what is right or what is wrong for them. Women have suffered from the orthodox mentality of our society for decades. It helps in equipping females to make life-making decisions on their own. It is a very broad topic and contains many dimensions.
How to empower women: There are various dimensions in which women are lacking. Some are listed below:
- Economic Empowerment: Females can be an asset to any organization. Policymakers, economists always suggested that Job training, Skill enhancement programs should be organized for females. Many CEOs, CFOS, CTOS, and the other positions of the top management have been occupied by female candidates.
- Political Empowerment: Political empowerment is an essential part of women empowerment as it helps in making the policies on issues like gender equality, involvement of females in politics. India, the world’s largest democracy, is promoting the participation of females in politics for generations.
- Digital Empowerment: In this century technology is leading the industries & economies of various countries. Digital empowerment refers to training females to use gadgets, sophisticated devices, etc.
Bottom Line:
Women’s Empowerment has been a burning issue for many years in the world. Various protests, movements have been organized to protect the rights of females. But the things are changing now women are leading Nations as Prime minister, President Organizations as CEOs, CFOs. We have to go a long way to improve the conditions of women in Villages, blocks, and backward areas.
